Description
I am currently working with an exciting Blackburn based business that is looking for a bright, driven, and likeable character to join their team as a Graduate Supply Chain Analyst. They want to train and support the relevant candidate to enable them to progress through the business into many different and exciting business areas and build a long-term career.
The key focus of the graduate role will be to fully understand the production processes and supply chain involved within the company and therefore the core responsibilities carried out by the planning team. This will include a large variety of different tasks such as:
1. Ownership of critical data presentations for weekly planning discussions between logistics teams.
2. Maintenance of stock tracking/planning profiles using a combination of Excel and our bespoke ERP.
3. Providing regular reports on inventory, shipments, and sales for this department and beyond, in order to provide a quick reference point on historical data, feeding into our trend analysis analytics.
4. Statistical data analysis and KPIs.
5. Managing manufacturing timelines and processes.
6. Project planning.
7. Project management.
8. Supporting and managing the automated planning systems.
9. Communication with production and manufacturing teams.
The successful graduate will be expected to have the following skills/attributes:
1. Strong A-Levels and a minimum 2:1/1st degree in Maths, Economics, or Business.
2. Well-developed Excel skills are critical.
3. A high level of analytical and numerical problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to identify patterns and trends in complex data sets.
