The Story Museum is looking for a part-time Finance Assistant to provide an efficient and effective bookkeeping function to support our cultural enterprise. This is a core role in our small and friendly office and you'll work closely alongside colleagues in all departments.
Duties will include:
1. Running the sales and purchase ledgers
2. Bank reconciliation
3. Assisting with procurement
4. Working with the Head of Finance to keep proper accounting records
Minimum Requirements:
Successful applicants must have:
1. At least two years work experience in a finance department
2. Knowledge of financial accounting software
3. A methodical and accurate approach to their work with high attention to detail
This is a part-time 0.8 FTE role on a permanent contract. There is also the possibility of making it a full-time role, with additional duties.
