Job summary As Senior Market Insight Analyst you will provide the UK land and property market landscape context to all HM Land Registry (HMLR) customer insight by providing a robust and holistic view of the environment our customers are operating within and the pressures being applied to their business models. You will be responsible for generating, recording, curating and communicating market insight across Land Registry and ensuring that the appropriate linkage is made with other insight and knowledge held across the organisation. By providing effective and tailored communication of external market insight to key stakeholder groups in Land Registry, you will support the organisation in its strategic goal of becoming more customer focused. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your insight skills by working in a multi-disciplinary team with experienced customer & market research and data analysis professionals. Youll also be able to develop communication and influencing skills while working on a wide range of projects, engaging with multiple stakeholders both internal and external. Job description Working closely with Head of Customer Insight and other colleagues, you will develop actionable land and property market insight, including identifying the fundamental business issues/risks and making recommendations for business change. You will maintain an understanding of the land and property market (and other relevant drivers in adjacent markets) and be able to clearly articulate and summarise for internal use. You will work collaboratively with a range of colleagues across Land Registry, Research & Development activity and external organisations to cross reference insight sources and create useable, actionable insight. You will communicate insight effectively, ensuring dissemination of valuable market insight across Land Registry to drive change throughout the organisation. Person specification To be successful for this role, you will have the ability to identify relevant information and draw logical conclusions from written information. You will have substantial experience in a market & competitor insight role, or within the land and property market or closely related industry. You will have proven experience of undertaking detailed analysis of market segments, especially synthesising segment insight from multiple sources, at pace, and of working within an effective collaborative and/or matrix team environment to deliver to deadline. You will be able to evidence responsibility for end-to-end delivery of insight, analysis or research led work. You should be able to communicate complex and technical subjects in a clear, engaging and understandable way to a range or audiences, and be able to influence and persuade colleagues and stakeholders. Where an individual taking up the responsibility will be based in our Swansea Office, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
