Annual salary: up to £34,587.00 Plasterer Bexley Salary up to £34,587 PA Full time - Permanent Role – 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday MPS has been caring for residents’ homes for over 25 years. Delivering a range of property services, including reactive repairs, planned and cyclical maintenance services to over 100 local authorities and housing providers nationwide including, Orbit: one of the largest housing providers in the midlands, east Anglia and the southeast. About the Role As a Plasterer with Orbit, you will work predominantly in and around the Bexley area, your main duties will include ensuring our clients receive high levels of service and satisfaction. You will be carrying out tasks including plastering, Maintenance, Refurbishment’s and Building repairs on our client’s properties. Take ownership in undertaking construction, fault finding and maintenance repairs aiming for a first-time completion whilst remaining within budget and time parameters. Ensure that the customer experience is central to all activities by adopting a professional manner when communicating with service users, clients, and both internal/external stakeholders. Process all activities in association with tasks/works electronically utilising a handheld device (PDA). Keep all supplied company assets in a good condition in line with the company policies Utilise existing stock or collect materials as and when required to meet works order requirements. Attend informal and formal meetings and training sessions as required. Participate in call out cover if and when required to ensure contract compliance & service user satisfaction for emergency repairs. Role Criteria Plastering qualification or extensive first hand, experience as a Plasterer Full UK manual driving licence Strong ability in tracing, diagnosing and rectifying faults. A Team player with the and ability to well independently Hardworking, reliable and trustworthy “On the job” experience in other trades would be beneficial, for example Plumbing/Carpentry Preferably Social housing experience All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
