Hours per week: 5 hours per week term time and 10 hours per week school holidays. Days and times to be agreed between PA and employer.
Hourly pay rate: £12 per hour
Hi, I am looking for a PA to provide support for my 10-year-old child and help him access activities. He loves to swim and would enjoy trips to a pool. He has attachments to his teddies, which go everywhere with him! He has ASD and is non-verbal, so a PA who is has experience in this is preferable. The PA must be confident with keeping him safe when out (he can be a flight risk!) and about and dealing with challenging behaviours as he has tendencies to self-harm if told no, which can not be tolerated. The PA must also be flexible as he can be difficult if he does not want to go out that day.
Duties include:
Transportation
Companionship
Keeping him clean/ toileting
Keeping him safe indoors/ outdoors
Candidate qualities:

Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative

Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
