About the Role As a Team Manager, you'll work closely with the Service Manager to ensure seamless day-to-day operations across our services in Penzance. Your leadership will directly impact the quality of life for the people we support, creating a positive, person-centered environment that promotes independence and active participation in the community. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Support: Provide hands-on guidance and constructive feedback to improve quality, person-centered care, and positive behavioral support. Staff Supervision: Conduct regular supervision meetings and facilitate team sessions to ensure staff remain motivated, informed, and supported. Individual Support Plans: Ensure support plans are up-to-date and thoroughly communicated, fostering individual growth and well-being. Community Engagement: Help those we support to build strong connections within their local neighborhoods, encouraging greater independence and community involvement. What We're Looking For To succeed as a Team Manager at United Response, you will need: Full UK Driving Licence: Travel throughout East Cornwall is required. Extensive Social Care Experience: Particularly with individuals with learning disabilities and autism. Supervisory Skills: A proven track record in managing and motivating teams. Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or a commitment to work toward it). Personal Qualities: Compassion, resilience, and a passion for social care to inspire both staff and those we support.
