Hospital Receptionist/Administrator | Administration | Part Time 25 hours per week | Private Hospital | Worcester | £15,665.00 per annum extensive benefits | Permanent Spire South Bank Hospital are looking for an experienced Hospital Receptionist to join their established team on a part time basis for 25 hours per week. You will be an integral part of a team who are committed to delivering the highest quality outcomes in a supported environment. You will be expected to deliver a first class service to patients, consultants and colleagues. Working Hours: Part Time 25.5hrs per week Mon - Fri 07:00-20:30, Sat - 07:00-18:00, Sun - 08:30-14:30 Contract Type: Permanent Duties and Responsibilities: Welcoming, registering, including the accurate collection of credit card details and patient information Directing patients, consultants and hospital teams as required, to the hospital in a warm, professional and caring manner and in such a way as to provide confidence Compliance with NHS forms and processes Processing in-patient/out-patient charges Cash handling strictly within the parameters of the ‘Handling Cash Policy’ Discharge of patients onto computer system ensuring accuracy of all information Manage the hospital switchboard in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring all calls or enquiries are responded to in a timely manner Undertake various clerical duties including checking of bed status reports, ordering and distribution of newspapers, including badges for visitors, booking taxis Who we're looking for: A personable individual with the ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team You must be proficient in the use of Excel, Outlook and Word and confident in the use of computer databases and booking systems as well as maintaining patient appointment data Proven experience in administration Excellent customer service skills High attention to detail and accuracy The ability to make decisions and use your initiative Great communication skills at all levels Experience of working in a similar position Switchboard experience Strong communication skill A flexible and positive attitude Benefits: We offer employed colleagues a competitive salary as well as a comprehensive benefits package which includes but is not limited to: 35 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays Employer and employee contributory pension with flexible retirement options ‘Spire for you’ reward platform - discount and cashback for over 1000 retailers Free Bupa wellness screening Private medical insurance Life assurance We commit to our employee’s well-being through work life balance, on-going development, support, and reward.
