Position: Site Planner (P6) Civil Infrastructure & Construction
Day Rate: Up to £500.00 per day
IR35 Determination: Outside Off Payroll Working Rules - Limited acceptable
Location: Harlow, Essex (1-2 days per week on site)
Environment: Office, home and site based.

The customer base includes governmental entities at both national and local levels, defense authorities, private patrons, and developers.
Summary
Reporting to the Business Manager, the Site Planner will be responsible for creating and reproducing efficient timelines throughout the design and construction period. The successful candidate will be adept at producing comprehensive program reports for progress meetings and will be an essential contributor to our internal weekly updates, fostering transparent and effective communication within teams. Additionally, they will excel in producing Change Programmes, meticulously identifying potential effects and risks for our Commercial Teams before submission to clients. Accurate analysis and a proactive approach will be vital in delivering high-quality, competitive tenders. Moreover, the Site Planner will be encouraged to actively seek opportunities for Business Improvement within the Planning team.
Accountabilities
1. Development of Contract Programmes from Tender Programme
2. Updating contract programmes for Client submission
3. Monitoring Progress and reporting to the site team
4. Production of Programme reports for progress meetings
5. Production of weekly site programmes
6. Production of change programmes for Contract variations
7. Production of Mitigation Programmes and Reports
8. Explaining programme changes to Internal and External parties
9. Assist in the production of Tender Programmes and methodology
10. Production of Programme presentation material
11. Assisting the Work winning teams
Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required
1. Intermediate understanding of Standard Microsoft Office software
2. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project
3. Knowledge of Primavera P6
4. Knowledge of programme planning sequencing and updates
5. Understanding of Pre-construction design and procurement processes
6. Knowledge of Temporary works traffic management, crane lifts, temporary support, scaffolding
7. SMSTS / IOSH (Safety Related Qualification)
8. Relevant CSCS card
9. Appropriate ONC/HNC/HND/Degree qualification in Construction / Civil Engineering
10. Knowledge and understanding of NEC conditions of Contract, and in implementing contract processes and of NEC Programme Compliance
