The Role
Due to expansion, the firm seeks an experienced Private Client Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join their successful Private Client department in Canterbury, Kent.
The Private Client department is among the largest in Kent, offering a robust internal progression path to Associate, Senior Associate, and ultimately Partner. Given the firm's emphasis on work-life balance, internal development, and high-quality casework, staff turnover is minimal.
Joining a reputable and well-established Private Client team, this position involves managing a diverse caseload focused on Vulnerable Client affairs, with a primary emphasis on drafting wills for vulnerable individuals, including Advance Directives, handling probate matters for these clients, and providing counsel on, preparing, and registering powers of attorney. Additionally, the role entails some involvement in Court of Protection proceedings and affairs management, offering an opportunity to develop expertise in areas such as care fee funding and NHS Continuing Healthcare Claims.
