Southern Area Sales Manager
Our Basingstoke Based client is looking for a Southern Area Sales Manager. This role will complement the existing team and continue the expansion and growth of the business, maximizing sales opportunities and revenue growth from both existing account customers and new business development.
The candidate will be covering the South of England. Reporting to the operations director, this individual will be empowered to identify and analyze potential new sources of business.
As a key member of the sales team, the role will support the evolution and continued growth of the business.
Salary: £38,000 to £65,000 OTE/Year

Duties:
1. Contributing to the support of reaching company sales, profit, and revenue targets by increasing sales within existing clients as well as winning new business.
2. The candidate must create proposal and quotation documentation.
3. Working the geographical patch of the south (Birmingham down).
4. Proactively managing prospects to generate net new leads via an Online CRM system.
5. Maintain an accurate sales forecast.
6. Develop and maintain a good understanding of the company's products and services.
Skills:
1. A real team player with the ability to effectively manage their time.
2. Experienced salesperson with in-depth telesales/on-the-road sales experience.
3. Experience in either the industry or across general sale sectors (volumetric mixers, excavators, telehandlers, etc.).
4. Strong communication skills.
5. Proven consistent sales success in a highly competitive market.
