We are working exclusively with a fast-growing, well-invested major food manufacturer in search of a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance teams and drive a team culture! The Maintenance Manager will be an integral member of the site management team, driving plant availability and performance through an effective maintenance strategy.

The experience you will need will be:
1. A time-served engineer
2. A strong background in the FMCG industry, preferably within the food sector
3. Proven experience in planned maintenance and associated systems
4. Ideally, experience managing projects with a focus on continuous improvement initiatives
Some of the key responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager:
1. Develop and deliver a robust maintenance strategy to meet the business needs
2. Strategic management of engineering operations, PPM system, people, and spares usage to ensure targeted efficiency levels are achieved
3. Ensure that Capex spend is managed within budget and delivered on time with good success
4. Assist in the development of one to three-year improvement plans for engineering operations and manufacturing processes
5. Ensure all food safety legislation and quality processes are followed, maintained, and improved upon
