In this role you will be a valued Engineer, seen as a partner rather than an employee, working across a number of services and other interfacing Applications and systems within our international markets area of the business, bringing with it variety, knowledge building and collaboration with multi-skilled teams. You will be required to build relationships with UK and international based teams. This role would suit a Application Support Engineer, Azure or similar looking to have the freedom to be creative and directly contribute to the success of a business with huge global reach. THE ROLE: Process service requests in a timely and orderly fashion, ensuring processes are followed Complete daily BAU activities, including, but not limited to, user administration, system account adjustments, certificate production support and error log monitoring, all within the required timescales Engage with Stakeholders and teams within the business to understand issues and problems, clarifying and confirming requirements and resolving service requests and incidents Support incident investigations and resolutions using the incident management tool and follow ITIL best practice Proactively support the identification, creation and maintenance of appropriate monitoring alerts and dashboards to ensure full application and system coverage Undertake root cause analysis following any incidents Assess and contribute to the prioritisation and technical analysis of Problem Management and Continuous Improvement activity THE PERSON: Network, Azure or similar Engineer Demonstrable experience writing SQL with databases, not just executing scripts Windows desktop operation systems (Windows 10 11) Provisioning and imaging of end points Key words: Azure, ITIL, Technology, VB.Net/C#, T-SQL and PL/SQL, Cloud, Remote/Hybrid Jobs Reference: If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
