Procurement Manager - Food Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to drive cost savings, maintain quality standards, and ensure timely delivery of raw materials and supplies.
2. Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships with key vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing.
3. Forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and optimize stock based on production schedules and market trends.
4. Ensure all purchased materials meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards set by the food industry.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, streamline procurement operations, and achieve operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
2. Proven experience as a Procurement Manager in the food manufacturing industry or similar role with expertise in strategic sourcing and supplier management.
3. Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
4. Proficiency in procurement software, Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP systems.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Ability to lead cross-functional teams, communicate effectively, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
