We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Support Assistant to work with a child in our nursery class. This role involves working closely with the class teacher to support the child in accessing various areas of the curriculum and providing focused 1:1 support. Key Responsibilities: Assist the child in engaging with different activities and areas of the nursery curriculum. Provide tailored 1:1 support under the guidance of the class teacher. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Build a trusting relationship with the child to support their social, emotional, and educational development. Communicate effectively with the class teacher and other staff to ensure the child’s needs are met. About You: Previous experience working with young children, especially neurodiverse children, is desirable but not essential. A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach to supporting children’s needs. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow direction from the class teacher.
