:•Lead a dedicated team of early years professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, and continuous improvement, through child-centred outstanding practice.•Implement and maintain the highest standards of care and education, ensuring every child thrives in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.•Empower staff through mentoring, training, and continuous professional development, helping them develop to their full potential•Part of the Nursery School’s Senior Leadership Team, helping make decisions about the direction of the whole Nursery School and Up to 3s’ provision•Working hours are usually spread over 4 full days from 7.45am to 5.00pm with a day off each week and an additional hour for staff meeting on a Wednesday, from 5pm-6pm We’re looking for a leader with:•Proven success in managing a nursery or early years setting.•A passion for child development and a deep understanding of the EYFS framework.•A track record of developing staff and embedding a culture of high performance.•Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a talent for motivating and inspiring teams•Qualifications to at least Level 3, and ideally a degree or Early Years Practitioner/Early Years Teacher Status•A strong history and commitment to your own research and professional development Why join us?Be part of a Maintained Nursery School, known for high quality and forward-thinking practice Join a supportive team community that values your contributions and invests in your own personal and professional developmentContribute to an ethos where play matters and staff, children and families are supported and nurturedOn site parkingGenerous Local Government Pension Scheme
