The Role
Your focus will be to support learners to reach their goals and achieve their qualifications. As the first point of contact for learners, you will provide the guidance and motivation that they need to flourish throughout their learning journey with Realise. Please note that this opportunity is subject to contract win. Whilst we can’t promise that every day will be the same, your key responsibilities are likely to be: - Delivering educational qualifications within your skill set and knowledge base, within our Hubs, in community venues across your defined geographical area.
- Responsibility for a caseload of learners, maintaining oversight, identifying and overcoming barriers to achievement from the start to the end of their learning journey.
- Using a range of delivery and assessment methods to ensure tailored learning and using pedagogical approaches to ensure learning is accessible to all.
- Working collaboratively with our learner recruitment teams to ensure our ethos of ‘Right Learner, Right Programme’, striving to exceed Qualification Achi evemen t Rate and retention benchmarks.

About You
- Ability to inspire and motivate learners from all backgrounds and at all levels to achieve their learning goals.
- Have a teaching or training qualification such as a level 3, 4 or 5 education and training qualification, PTLLS (or equivalent)
- Have level 3 forest school leader accreditation
- Have a minimum of two years of experience, post qualification, leading forest school with at least one long term (ie through the seasons) programme with a variety of client groups.
- Have a first aid qualification of at least 16 hours in duration which includes an outdoor element or willingness to undertake relevant training.
- Experience of delivering training to learners from a wide range of backgrounds including unemployed learners would be advantageous.
- UK Driving Licence and own vehicle.
- Willingness to travel across designated geographical area, as well further afield where required.
- Some evening work maybe required this will be discussed at interview.
