Job Description
I am currently looking to speak with an engineer who will take up the position of Principle Instrument & Control Engineer for a leading engineering company based in Manchester working on mixed carbon capture/hydrogen projects.
Involvement in ranging from concept studies to detailed design, offers a diverse and engaging workload. Projects span across various industries, including Water and Energy sectors, with a focus on areas like Green Energy, Nuclear, and Oil and Gas
This is a hybrid role with 2 or 3 days based at the Manchester office
Salary:
£70,000 - £80,000 + Car or Allowance + Benefits + Hybrid
* Primary Responsibilities: Provide technical input for instrumentation discipline on projects and proposals, including preparation, review, and approval of engineering documentation.
* Organize and allocate work to discipline staff, ensuring timely delivery.
* Mentor and develop junior engineers and graduates.
* Deliver high-quality C&I engineering outputs within schedule, budget, and to client satisfaction.
* Ensure compliance with national/international standards, legislation, and client/company procedures.
* Prepare requisitions for control systems, safety systems, analyser houses, and field instrumentation.
* Develop installation scopes of work.
* Review supplier quotations and prepare technical bid assessments for instrumentation equipment.
* Qualifications: B.Sc. (Engineering ) with experience in EPC and major engineering companies
* Involved in project life cycle
* Have previously experience in leading project within energy sector
