Our client is a leading custom design and manufacturer in their field, selling their products to a wide range of clients across the UK & Ireland. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit 3-5 experienced Field Service Engineers to join their team. This role is responsible for the service, repair, and support of a range of industrial electrical equipment.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Servicing, maintaining, and repairing industrial electrical equipment
2. Installing and commissioning new equipment
3. Speaking directly to clients and handling complaints
4. Fault finding, diagnosing, and technical problem-solving of electromechanical equipment
5. Field-based, travelling across the UK and Ireland
Skills & Experience:
1. Must have experience in electrical engineering (mechanical knowledge beneficial)
2. Must have previous experience in a field-based position
3. Previous experience in an industrial or commercial workplace
4. Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently to resolve customer issues
5. A methodical approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting
6. A flexible approach to hours worked, including weekends as required
7. Willingness to travel across the UK
8. Clean full UK Driving License
Additional Information:
1. Please note the Head Office is based in Banbury, but the role covers the entire UK
2. Overtime is typically in the region of 20-35% of salary
3. Working hours are Monday to Friday, with frequent weekend work required, especially for installations
4. Company-provided vehicle and fuel card (subject to BIK)
