Project Manager - Major Projects (£50m Education scheme) Nr Carshalton, Surrey Permanent Start ASAP This leading top 50 building contractor covers a range of projects mostly within the commercial, life sciences and education sectors - typical contract values between £30m - £70m. They have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to work on a £50m new build education project in near Carshalton, Surrey. The project is a D&B style contract; 2 new school buildings constructed for the DfE over 4 years and 11 phases. The works comprise substantial logistics and decant planning, a new substation, temporary school construction, asbestos bats surveys, demolition of existing school buildings, construction of 2 new school buildings, underground attenuation and deep drainage, soft and hard landscaping all within an operational school environment. As the No1 Project Manager on site, and with a visiting contracts manager, you will be responsible for a team - initially a Senior Site Manager, Assistant Site Manager and commercial team (Trainee QS, 2 x Assistant QS's and a Quantity Surveyor - all on site with a visiting Managing QS).
