EA to CEO
Marcilly Recruitment’s client, a high-end restaurant entrepreneur in Mayfair, is looking for an EA to support them in a business and private capacity. The role will be based in the Mayfair head office as well as their different sites across Mayfair.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to secure a meaty, right hand EA role within the luxury sector. It will be more focussed on the business side as you will also support her with operations, marketing, new launches etc. The successful candidate must have a minimum of two years' PA / EA experience, and ideally experience in the luxury hospitality industry. They are looking for a proactive, self-starter who is good at using their own initiative and can manage an ever-changing workload, working well under pressure. She is a very busy principal building an international portfolio.
The principal works at an extremely fast pace, is very driven and meticulous. She needs a right-hand support who can keep up and deliver high standards across the business, particularly with communication, aesthetics and relationship building. She will need someone who can manage her diary with autonomy. She is always very busy both personally and professionally, with lots of invites to manage for London events.
Salary: £40K - £50K
Benefits:discretionary bonus, luxury gifts, restaurant discounts, pension, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays – they are having a benefits overhaul in the next year across the group
Hours: 09:00 – 18:00
Location: Mayfair (the principal’s home, office and restaurants are all based in Mayfair)
Start date: ideally ASAP to enable a handover with the existing PA
EA Key Responsibilities
Business (UK)
* Managing business correspondence, in all formats - must have very strong written communication and a strong grasp of the English language
* Extensive diary management, including international appointments arranging extensive business and personal travel here in the UK and internationally, and producing detailed itineraries
* Communicating information and relevant deadlines to all key stakeholders
* Managing personal and business expenses in detail
* Scheduling catch up sessions with senior management
International business
* Supporting Founder on new projects in the Middle East as they gain momentum
* Helping to coordinate between the founder and all the stakeholders in the London office and should their international offices need anything
* Liaising with UK and overseas suppliers to ensure deadlines are in place in all international locations
* Making sure all information for future projects, including, mood boards, PR etc are in place
* Liaising with all the international offices
Operations
* Monthly check-ins for menu updates across competitive set brands
* Overlooking sales track of promotions across all internal brands
Marketing
* Working alongside the Marketing Team on activation, including production and delivery, across all London sites
* Communicating activation details and deadlines to all key stakeholders, including head office, restaurant management, op’s team and marketing.
Personal
* Keeping fully up to date with comprehensive personal and confidential information
* Arranging all health and lifestyle appointments, including fitness, beauty and leisure
* Providing business and personal to support to founder's family, when in London Coordinate family travel arrangements with international offices and owner's PA
* Coordinating with personal housekeepers
* Liaise with private driver for local travel arrangements
* Taking care of any maintenance issues at the principal's residence
* Overseeing smooth running of the household, including groceries, wardrobeand utilities etc.
This will be a really meaty, interesting role with a lot of scope across the business and the ability to build a close relationship with the principal, earning her trust and being an integral part of her life. Due to her incredibly busy schedule, she will also need upwards management so someone who has the maturity and experience level to do that effectively. There is definitely scope to grow with the role and the business as they are opening new restaurants and growing in the UK and internationally.
