We are currently hiring for magazine vendors who want to expand their skills in approaching people in public to sell them a copy of our magazine. We are looking for individuals who have the confidence to engage with the public, someone who is passionate, enthusiastic & dedicated to working hard. The Hub Project is a grassroots charitable organisation, and our magazine is a free platform for writers, creative artists, and the local community to showcase their work and experiences. The Hub Project magazine covers social interest events, music reviews, poetry, urban art, and inspirational stories.
Key Information:
1. In this job role, you will be selling magazines.
2. You can either work alone or with another person.
3. You will be paid 40% of what you collect.
4. You will be working outside and inside shops such as cafes, pubs, and restaurants in areas all over London.
In this role, you get to meet interesting people from all walks of life or even see familiar faces! It helps build your confidence, people skills, and helps you make a difference in your community.
Important Things to Note:
1. You will need to bring proof of ID & address.
2. Dress code: Casual (weather-related) and NO jogging bottoms.
3. Please ensure you have mobile data and your phone is fully charged.
