We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Head Teacher to join our team at Queensmead House School, a specialist education provider for children and young people with complex needs.
About the Role
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our school, ensuring that our students receive the best possible education. As a key member of our leadership team, you will work closely with our Head Teacher to set the vision for the school's development and ensure that we have the right people and plans in place to support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of teachers and support staff to deliver high-quality education to students with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the school.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning.
* Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address these.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in leadership and management
* Proven track record of improving teaching and learning
* Effective leadership and coaching skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
