About The Role RAC are recruiting for an Acquisition Pricing Business Partner to work alongside our technical pricing team within the acquisition squad who will help develop a pricing strategy to deliver the acquisition budget. Working alongside key stakeholders including the Head of Pricing, Acquisition Director, Finance Director and Business Partners you will help to successfully deliver financial objectives, including revenue sales, sales volumes usage and life-time value targets across relevant distribution channels. This is a flexible hybrid working model with some travel to the Bradley Stoke office What you will do Successfully deliver the financial objectives of the acquisition budget. Support the wider consumer division achieve its financial objectives. The role has one direct report and reports to the Head of Pricing - Consumer. Working alongside the technical pricing team and colleagues from a variety of functions (marketing, digital etc.) in the acquisition squad to develop and execute pricing strategy to deliver acquisition budget. Support the development and adoption of analytical and technical capabilities within the wider pricing team, to ensure the wider consumer division achieves its objectives. Ensuring acquisition pricing meets any regulatory or compliance requirements. Supporting the development of direct reports and the wider pricing team. What you will need Working alongside finance and other colleagues to input into, challenge, and ultimately agree financial objectives. B oth short- and long-term pricing strategies. Successful execution of pricing strategies. Collaboration with non-pricing colleagues. Extensive use of data querying languages such as SQL. General insurance pricing experience ( advantageous, but not a pre-requisite). An understanding of generalised linear models and use of Emblem ( advantageous, but not a pre-requisite). An understanding of optimisation within insurance pricing, and use of Radar or Earnix ( advantageous, but not a pre-requisite). An understanding of machine learning ( advantageous, but not a pre-requisite). A desire for the responsibility and accountability of a business critical and highly visible role.
