Job Description
The Android Lead at Barclays will spearhead the large-scale technology platform transformation, improve customer experience, and drive innovation and excellence.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience with:
* Kotlin programming language
* Unit testing methodologies
* Git and Android Studio development tools

This role will be based out of our Knutsford location.
Purpose of the Role
Design, develop, and improve software using various engineering methodologies to provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for customers and colleagues.
Accountabilities
* Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and optimized code.
* Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
* Participate in code reviews, promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing, and stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations.
* Implement secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
* Adhere to effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
