Jenson Fisher have been engaged, by a rapidly expanding company based in Glasgow City Centre who are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. This role will suit an experienced AP candidate who is looking to work in an interesting and varied role with a great company and team environment. This is an office based role. The hours of work are: Monday to Thursday - 8am to 4.30pm & Fridays 8am to 3pm.The main duties:
* Perform the purchase to pay process – matching, processing and paying invoices
* Reviewing and processing expense claims
* Managing the AP Mailbox – work through emails, responding to queries
* Weekly Payment Runs
* Processing payments in various currencies
* Reviewing and processing credit card claims
* Supplier Statement reconciliations
* Verify and investigate discrepancies
* Month end tasks
* Weekly system reconciliations
The main requirements:
* Previous accounts payable experience
* Excellent communication skills
* High levels of attention to detail
* Good systems experience, including Excel
* Team player
