We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join our team at Resource Group. The successful applicant will provide Group-wide marketing support in delivering all aspects of marketing to the Group's business divisions.
Whilst some marketing experience would be advantageous, we would rather you came with enthusiasm, a desire to learn, and a work ethic that sees you taking pride in all that you do.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Create content for social media (including copy and creatives) to drive audience engagement.
2. Work with the Senior Marketing Executive to manage all social media accounts and monitor competitors.
3. Support the team by producing engaging blog posts for the Resource Group websites.
4. Use Adobe Creative suite and other design software to produce content for digital and print (videos, graphics, flyers, presentations etc.)
5. Action marketing administration requests and responsibilities.
6. Assist with internal communications.
7. Support the team with planning, creating and implementing email marketing campaigns.
8. Conduct market research to assist with marketing campaigns. Stay up to date with industry news, be aware of competitor activity, and make suggestions/observations where appropriate.
9. Maintain a thorough understanding of Resource Group’s target audience and ensure that tone, language and creative is always appropriate.
10. Work collaboratively across many teams including Marketing, Sales, HR, Operations and Recruitment.
11. Continual self-development – develop an in depth understanding of our products and services, and the benefits they provide to our customers.
12. Meet sometimes challenging deadlines along with efficiently prioritising workload and working under own initiative.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualification/Education Required:
* Secondary education – A-C in English Language and English Literature – GCSE or equivalent.
Experience and Skills Required:
* Strong understanding of social media and content creation (Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn).
* Exceptional writing ability.
* An interest in market research.
* Experience working in a target and deadline driven environment.
* Strong design skills using editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and/or Canva.
* Excellent IT skills using Microsoft Office.
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
* Self-motivated.
* Ability to successfully work independently with minimal supervision.
* Team player.
Advantageous Experience and Skills:
* Experience working with social media in a professional capacity.
* Experience writing social media posts, blogs, website copy and reports.
* Understanding of Google Analytics and reporting tools.
* WordPress knowledge & experience would be beneficial.
Other Requirements:
* Full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle.
