2 x Lead Project Operations Engineer Permanent Staff or outside IR35 contract Kingston upon Thames, Surrey – 3 days per week in the office and 2 days per week from home Oil & Gas/ Offshore Wind sector Successful candidates will be required to travel overseas for offshore trips as and when required as part of project installation. 2 Lead Project Operations Engineers are required to support a large project based on a hybrid working set up of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days per week working from home. As the Lead Project Operations Engineer, you will be joining a global leader in engineering, procurement, construction, and installation services for the energy industry. As the Lead Project Operations Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on the installation of a jacket and topsides as well as the associated subsea infrastructure in support of a large field development in the Black Sea. The primary mission of the Lead Operations Engineer is to lead the readiness for the semi-submersible heavy lift vessel and its associated marine spread as well as be the project representative on-board the vessel during the offshore construction activities. The role of the Lead Operations Engineer consists of the following responsibilities: - Develop and prepare technical documents related to his/her work package(s). - As the Lead Project Operations Engineer, you will follow-up the procurement and logistics plan related to his/her work package(s). - Review the installation engineering of his/her work package(s). - As the Lead Project Operations Engineer, you will lead the subcontracting activities associated to his/her work package(s). - Interface with Vessel Management Team / ASSET and OPERATIONS departments regarding the preparations of the Mobile Assets and vessel. - As the Lead Project Operations Engineer, you will coordinate the project qualifications and tests (FAT / SIT) jointly with fabrication yards. - Lead the mobilization and demobilization activities of his / her vessel and associated marine spread. - As the Lead Project Operations Engineer, you will interface with Project Marine Advisor regarding the vetting of the vessels (Marine assurance plan). - Take an active part in the Operations Review and Project Risk Assessment process. - As the Lead Project Operations Engineer, you will coordinate the offshore operations on-board the vessel as project representative. - Follow-up the project close-out of the invoicing process. The secondary responsibility, will consist of: - Support the Project Operations Manager (or delegate) related to the readiness of the vessel.
