Job Description
DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
TD Wealth takes a sophisticated and holistic goals discovery approach to wealth planning and protection to provide highly personalized advice, solutions, and service to clients.
The Financial Planning team understands that helping clients set and achieve their financial goals while delivering a legendary customer experience is what drives our business success, new business, and client loyalty.
Role
Our Co-op/Intern Programming is designed to help you better understand the TD business, build on critical career capabilities, and broaden your professional network. This program features:
* Leadership talks with key Leaders from across the organization
* Lunch and Learns on topics such as Innovation, Diversity and Inclusion, and Personal Branding
Job Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategy, Planning and Transformation, work on the development of strategic initiatives that support the overall growth of TD Wealth Financial Planning
* Interact with a variety of Wealth partners to support projects that work towards Financial Planning business goals
* Analyze internal processes and procedures to look for ways to enhance the overall function of the Financial Planning National Office
* Source and analyze data to derive insights that will help inform business decisions
* Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled and ad-hoc leadership meetings and executive updates
* Work with Wealth Advice Communications to support the development of field and field leadership communications and change management initiatives
Job Requirements
* Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business/Commerce, or related field; with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term
* Interest in learning about the Wealth businesses and/or Financial Advice industry
* Self-initiator with strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and independently
* Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with others and work in a team environment
* Knowledge of MS Office suite and the internet
Additional Information
* This position is a 4-month work term from May - Aug, 2025

* TD requires employees to reside in the country where the role is located, irrespective of remote working arrangements.
