We’ve teamed up with an award-winning quantum hardware start-up, who enable secure encryption through harnessing the power of photonics and quantum mechanics. As one of the UK’s many university spinout success stories, they’re currently a team of 25, made up of specialists in quantum physics, firmware, hardware and software. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to hire an FPGA Engineer to bolster their product engineering capability.
Please note that they are based in Oxford, with a hybrid working policy. You should expect to be in the office 2-3 days a week, though there is flexibility where necessary.
What experience will I need?
1. A degree or relevant education in Electronics, Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
2. Proven FPGA expertise, as well as SoC architecture.
3. Extensive experience in the design & debugging of digital/analog hardware interfaces.
4. Understanding of signal processing, plus algorithm design & optimisation.
5. Skilled in VHDL, Verilog or a similar hardware description language.
