SALARY: £39,513 - £43,693 PLUS £1,491 SEN ALLOWANCE PER ANNUM
CONTRACT/HOURS: 37 HOURS PER WEEK, ALL YEAR, PERMANENT

Ascendancy Partnership Trust (APT) is a newly formed multi-academy trust (MAT) with deep community roots across the Berkshire area, composed of a family of SEN schools all specialising in learning difficulties. Our mission is to provide the best possible education for children and young people with additional and complex needs.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager located at Addington School to manage the school’s budget, funding and procurement process and work closely with school leaders to ensure that Addington is a financially strong, learner focussed educational establishment.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the school’s budget and funding.
2. Oversee the procurement process.
3. Work closely with school leaders on financial matters.
4. Conduct financial forecasting and budget planning.
5. Report financial information to various audiences.
6. Manage a small admin team.
7. Resolve problems and conflicts creatively and strategically.
Qualifications:
1. Professional finance qualification.
2. Experience in financial management within a substantial accounting system.
3. Strong skills in financial analysis and risk management.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
