We are currently working in partnership with a further educational institution in The Black Country, who are looking to appoint a Financial Controller on a permanent basis
This will be a full-time, office-based position offering a salary of £45,000 to £57,000 per annum (DOE) and benefits including 25 days annual leave and 22.1% employer pension contribution.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Assisting the Head of Finance in development and operation of financial strategy in line with the organisational strategic plans linked to the college and any subsidiaries or linked organisations
* Holding responsibility for the college’s financial viability and long-term sustainability though financial accounting of the college including management accounts, statutory accounts, funding body returns, cash flow and taxation matters
* Supporting the Head of Finance in promoting excellent financial management and internal control as well as ensuring continuous improvement and the effective and efficient delivery of all finance services
* Managing the finance team including one AP Supervisor, AR Supervisor, Financial Accountant and Finance Business Partner
