Your role and responsibilities You will manage a supportive and experienced team of staff who provide support to Elected Members and Senior Managers within Children and Young People (CYP). As the team works across service areas, this role is a varied one, enabling you to engage more in the breadth of work within CYP. Your main duties will include, but are not limited to: line management of business support colleagues overseeing the process for dealing with correspondence from MPs and members of the public budget monitoring and forecasting for CYP business support teams co-ordination of CYP responses to key areas such as business continuity and risk management continuous review of business support arrangements to ensure they are flexible to meet any changes within CYP service delivery You will need experience in the following: developing and implementing consistent, efficient business support and administration processes leading flexible, motivated and adaptable teams working in a fast paced political environment planning, prioritising and organising in a busy office environment You can view a full list of requirements in the Job and Person Profile (docx).
