Your Role as a Year 5 Teacher Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued. Assess, track, and support student progress, providing tailored feedback and intervention where needed. Inspire pupils to become independent and confident learners. Work closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure each child reaches their full potential. Engage in school initiatives, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities. What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching KS2, ideally Year 5. A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment methods. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A passion for inclusive education and supporting diverse learning needs. Commitment to continuous professional development.
