An excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join a high-growth organisation based just outside of Glasgow. Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for: Purchase ledger ownership, including supplier statement reconciliations, trend analysis, intercompany reconciliations and presenting of key movements each month Month end assistance, including but not limited to, fixed asset reconciliation, bank reconciliations, support on stock reconciliations and drafting journals for review Staff expenses and credit card reconciliations Bi-monthly payment runs including subcontractor payments Preparing and presenting monthly analysis on key areas Driving forward areas of automation and efficiencies by undertaking a range of continuous improvement projects (a key area) Supporting the management accountants and senior management on a range of tasks, supporting the general business The Individual: Qualified by Experience or Part Qualified Industry experience within a similar role Good Excel and systems knowledge Ability to drive forward process improvements On Offer: Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 p.a.
