The post exists within the IT Solutions Development team which provides a 24/7 service to specify, design, develop, support and maintain systems and applications for its customers. So that the Digital Services Strategy and the development programme are delivered effectively.
To lead, develop and support the Trust’s Community Digital Portal, clinical portal, system integration and bespoke applications. Working through the full development lifecycle agreed methodologies. This enables the team to maximise customer engagement and deliver value and quality applications systems to the business, whilst adhering to internal quality standards and following the development processes.
The post holder will be expected to have a working knowledge of all systems and applications, being able to assist and undertake work across all areas when required, thus ensuring an effective, reliable and comprehensive service is delivered within the resources allocated.
Provide specialist expertise in the field of application development and system integration.

Working with colleagues in the Digital Services directorate under the direction of the IT Solutions Development Manager to develop, integrate and implement systems in support of Digital Services Strategy and supporting strategies/plans.
Responsibility for conducting effective and timely analysis of organisational, team and individual system requirements and producing appropriate applications solutions to meet these needs.
