Job Title: Payroll Officer (Part Time)
Location: Borehamwood
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (Pro Rata)
Hours: 25- 30 hours per week (flexible, ideally across 5 days)
Are you an experienced payroll professional looking for a flexible, part-time role? A private healthcare company in Borehamwood is seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join their finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process multiple payrolls from start to finish with accuracy and speed.
* Enter new starters, leavers, changes to details, statutory payments (SSP, SMP), and input hours into Sage 50 Cloud Payroll.
* Manage auto-enrolment for pensions and process net payments through online banking portals.
* Submit FPS (Full Payment Submissions) to HMRC.
* Liaise with off-site care home administrators to ensure all payroll deadlines are met.
Person Specification:
* At least 2 years of experience in a similar payroll role.
* Proficient in Sage 50 Cloud Payroll.
* Knowledge of tax, NI, statutory payments, and pension auto-enrolment rules.
* Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and communication skills.
* Ability to work to strict deadlines and with a high degree of accuracy.
Qualifications:
* 5 GCSEs (A-C) including Maths and English or equivalent.
