SEN Support Worker

Salary: £87.30 - £100 per day

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Support Worker to join one of our partner schools in Wakefield.
This role involves supporting students with a variety of needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, and other additional barriers to learning.
The school has an excellent reputation and is conveniently accessible via both car and public transport.
- Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning.
- Work closely with students in Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting engagement and learning.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Develop strong relationships with students, using creative methods to re-engage those who may be disengaged from education.
- Commit to a long-term role, providing consistency and stability for the learners.
- Experience working with learners who have a range of needs, including ASC and SEMH.
- Proven ability to implement a variety of behaviour management techniques.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting students in overcoming learning challenges.
