About the Role As a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with students, providing personalised ones-to-one and group support. Your role will involve helping students overcome challenges and fostering their academic, social, and emotional growth. By working collaboratively with class teachers and the SENCO, you’ll help ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive. Responsibilities of the SEN Teaching Assistant: Provide dedicated support to students with SEN, both individually and in small groups. Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning strategies. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. Help students build confidence, social skills, and independence. Collaborate with the SENCO and other staff to ensure effective learning plans are in place. Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all students. Requirements for the SEN Teaching Assistant Role: Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) or in a similar support role is preferred. A genuine passion for helping students with SEN. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Patience, empathy, and a supportive approach to working with children. Flexibility to adapt to the individual needs of students. A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. Availability to start immediately and commit to a full-time role. What We Offer Competitive Pay : Earn between £83.33 and £95.00 per day.
