Manufacturing Supply Chain Manager

The role of Manufacturing Supply Chain Manager will be suited to those from any manufacturing backgrounds, with candidates having exposure to metals or heavy engineering environments highly encouraged to apply. You will have expert-level ERP system optimization experience; similar software application experience will be considered. Senior-level negotiation, commercial acumen, and financial feasibility awareness are critical to this function.
Initially, this role will focus on leading strategic planning within global procurement relationships, supplier interaction, and transactions. You will have overall responsibility for maximizing profitability through efficient supply chain management. The role will initially have one direct report that will support all ERP system use and improvements to ensure optimum efficiency and profitability is achieved through both supplier management and strategic practices.
Although the role will not hold overall P&L accountability, there is a large focus on financial reporting, accounting, and administration. You will have proven experience of strategically managing profitable accounts within a procurement and manufacturing function and, with support, the ability to generate detailed financial reports and use intelligent data through their bespoke software to make continuous improvements through cost-saving initiatives and efficiencies.

Minimum Requirements
1. Experienced Supply Chain Manager or commercially aware strategic Procurement Manager from a metals or heavy manufacturing background; transferable environments will be considered.
2. Excellent commercial and financial acumen.
3. Very strong proven ERP or similar systems experience.
4. Proven ability to use smart financial data to make continuous operational improvements to maximize efficiencies and profitability.
5. An out-and-out team player with the desire to grow within an ambitious brand in a family feel.
