Sessional Support Worker (Term Time) - Caithness KLICS
Supporting Young Carers in Caithness
Requirements:
The applicant must hold a clean driving licence and be able to drive, or be willing to train towards driving the KLICS minibus. Full MIDAS training will be provided, if required.
Flexibility is key to this role.
Salary: £12.50 per hour
Hours: 12 hours per week, over five days, to be discussed further at interview.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. To work closely with young carers during group activities and sessions.
2. Support drop-in sessions for young carers during school drop-in sessions.
3. Help create a fun and safe environment for young carers to come to.
4. Preparation and planning of activities and snacks for during group sessions.
5. To maintain confidentiality of service users and information relating to the service users.
6. Any other duties are reasonably required to fulfil the role.
7. Represent Caithness KLICS professionally both within and out with work.
Essential skills:
1. Experience in working with children and young people.
2. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3. The skill to listen to the needs and worries of the service users.
