Randstad C&P are working with a global facilities management client who are seeking a skilled and motivated Fabric Engineer to join their team. As a Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the building's fabric, ensuring that all facilities are kept in optimal condition to support a safe and productive working environment. This role is integral to delivering high-quality maintenance services, aligned with health and safety standards.
This is a full-time, permanent position based on our clients commercial site in Bootle, Liverpool.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform planned and reactive maintenance tasks on the building fabric, including carpentry, plastering, painting, and general building repairs.
* Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
* Carry out minor electrical and plumbing repairs, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Assist with the installation of fixtures and fittings, such as doors, windows, shelving, and signage.
* Maintain accurate records of work carried out, materials used, and time spent on each task.
* Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors to ensure the smooth operation of the facilities.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for all building occupants.
Qualifications and Experience:
* NVQ Level 2 in a relevant trade e.g. joinery.
* Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a facilities management or building maintenance environment.
* Strong skills in general building maintenance, including carpentry, plastering, and painting.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
