We are seeking a dynamic Commercial and Operations Manager who embodies our core values and possesses the ability to foster talent, guiding our team towards success. This pivotal role will be instrumental in driving the growth and excellence of our business and painting product.
This opportunity would suit an individual with a proven track record in commercial and operational expertise, coupled with a balance of drive, empathy and a history of building a successful and motivated team. Additionally, possess the confidence and ability to attract new clients, nurture existing relationships, and build new ones.

The Commercial and Operations Manager role will involve:
Developing and nurturing your team is critical to the success of this business, identifying talent, and drawing on individuals’ skills that will benefit your business to deliver through your team.
As leader of the business, you take responsibility for the business's budget and P&L, working with your commercial team to ensure you are accurately tendering, maximising profit, and securing payment.
You enjoy engaging with existing clients, building new relationships, and leading by example to deliver a high-quality service and secure extended business as well as new business.
Motivate and lead the operational team to drive productivity and ensure hight quality delivery of works whilst also providing Contract Managers with a comprehensive understanding of contract delivery for efficient organisation and communication with trade operatives.
Health and Safety- Aware of the targets and expectations on each contract your business is responsible for, you ensure, your business is always delivering in terms of safety, quality.
You will lead the commercials with financial reporting processes and procedures for monthly and Quarterly reviews, collaborating with the General Manager.
What will you bring as Commercial and Operations Manager?
Demonstrable ability to manage, motivate and influence teams to success
Demonstrable experience of being competent to influence in both commercial and operational aspects of a business
Managing teams, contributing to business plans and profit and loss reporting of budgets over £5m
Be able to demonstrate success in developing and securing new business
Experience of managing client and contract KPIs to a consistently high level
Sound knowledge of current HSE legislation and experience of ensuring onsite compliance.
