For our business, for clients, and for you Role Summary: As a Workday Solution Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of comprehensive technical solutions in Workday to meet the complex needs of our organization. Leveraging your expertise in architecture, technology, and specifically Workday, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of technical solutions with business objectives. Your role will involve providing strategic guidance, architectural oversight, and technical leadership to drive innovation and excellence in solution delivery. Key Responsibilities: • Design and Implementation: Design and implement Workday solutions, including HCM, Financials, and other modules, to meet business needs. This involves developing system configurations and ensuring that the solutions are scalable and efficient. • System Configuration and Maintenance: Develop and maintain system configurations, including cost centers, consolidations, and other financial structures. Conduct impact analysis and testing for new configurations, updates, and integrations. • Project Leadership: Lead and participate in projects that impact Workday, including mergers and acquisitions. Manage the transition to go live and ensure that all processes are tested and validated. • Technical Guidance and Support: Provide technical leadership across the Workday ecosystem and connected systems to ensure the solutions conform with best practices and reduce technical complexity/technical debt from the existing platform. Ensure impact assessments are completed to help inform stakeholders of the impacts of proposed changes. • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Stay current with Workday updates and best practices and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. • Integration and Automation: Work on integrating Workday with other enterprise systems, such as Salesforce, and automating processes to reduce administrative overhead and minimize errors. • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects from other domains, and development teams to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable technical solutions. • Risk Management: Identify technical risks and dependencies early in the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables. • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance solution quality, development efficiency, and technical excellence across the organization. Skills/Experience: • Extensive experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or similar role in Agile environments, designing and delivering complex technical solutions. • Comprehensive experience with Workday HCM, Financials, and other modules such as Benefits, Talent Optimization, Payroll, Advanced Compensation, Recruitment, Core HCM, Time Tracking, Integration, Expenses, Procurement, Drive, Accounting Center, Regulatory Reporting, Assets, Project Accounting, Data Model, Banking and Settlement, Cashflow and Treasury, and Prism Infrastructure. • In-depth knowledge of solution architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices. • Proficiency in a wide range of technologies, platforms, and frameworks, with the ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly. • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Very good understanding of cloud platforms and their services, Azure and AWS would be considered an advantage. • Fluent English (spoken and written) - necessary to work in an international environment. • Experience within the context of the Scaled Agile Framework ( SAFe ) or relevant certifications such as SAFe ® 5 Agilist (SA), SAFe ® 5 Architect (ARCH), are advantageous.
