An Assembly Fitter is needed for a permanent position with standard days. Upskilling training is provided within a niche market, along with a company pension, parking on site, PPE provided, overtime available, and a lunchtime finish on Fridays.
This company is based in Bedfordshire and converts standard cars and vans into specialist vehicles for operational use in the emergency services. They are looking for an Assembly Fitter to join their manufacturing team.
The work focuses on the conversion of vehicles for police, paramedic, and other emergency service uses.

We also welcome applications from individuals with a passion for vehicle repairs, including tyre fitters, body repair technicians, trainee mechanics, level 1/level 2 qualified mechanics, vehicle technicians, assemblers, fitters, electrical fitters, auto electricians, and panel technicians.
Duties of the Assembly Fitter role:
1. Stripping down and rebuilding vehicles
2. Fitting specialist storage
3. Installing telematic systems
4. Interior fitting of vehicles
5. Installing CCTV systems
6. Interior racking systems
Experience required for the Assembly Fitter role:
1. Auto-electrical experience is an advantage
2. Varied skill set
3. Practical skills are an advantage
4. Open to learning with a good work ethic
