Loss Adjuster - Starting salary circa £34,000
Are you someone who is enthusiastic about household/residential insurance and has a confident knowledge of buildings reinstatement, mitigation, and an ability to manage several stakeholders?
A bit about the job:
The role will service our customers affected by building-related damage from perils such as escape of water, flood, fire, and impact. You will be joining a team of around 20 specialist handlers who manage claims up to £50k virtually while having the ability to pull on a field resource from a menu of services. Our new colleague will be responsible for owning the claim, providing a customer-focused & cost-effective service by managing claims from instruction to completion. You will act as a main point of contact for customers and suppliers managing claims and utilizing the support of field-based colleagues and suppliers.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
1. Experience in household/residential insurance.
2. A good understanding of building pathology.
3. Ability to scope and schedule reinstatement works utilizing photos and video.
4. Good knowledge of the buildings industry, mitigation, building standards, and materials.
5. Strong stakeholder management skills, including the customer.

1. Starting salary circa £34,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
