About the Role
The role of the MHE Aftersales Support Manager is to support all aspects of the MHE Aftersales Department including, but not limited to; the Lopen and Midlands based Workshop Supervisors, Field Based Engineers, Workshop Engineers, the Office based Teams and the MHE Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
On a day-to-day basis you will:
* Be responsible for the Field Engineers, Somerset and Lopen Workshop Engineers and the Workshop Supervisor as their Line Manager.
* Carry out van or site audits on a regular basis to ensure work and van standards are as expected.
* Liaise with customers in support of the Aftersales Department with regards to repairs and maintenance.
* Provide support to the Somerset based Aftersales Office Team when required.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
* Excellent communication skills including a confident, friendly and professional manner.
* Ability to work on ones own initiative with a flexible approach to workload.
* Excellent Organisational skills, with an ability to Multi-Task.
* Well-developed IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Able to lead and effectively manage a team of Field, Workshop and Office based team members, with full support from the Operations Manager.
* Able to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines.
* An understanding of the Business Requirements and ability to prioritise.
* An understanding of revenue streams and an awareness of basic accounting such as costings and profit margins.
* Engineering experience within a Workshop and/or Field based environment.
* Ability and willingness to problem solve and find alternative solutions.
