Cloud Infrastructure Manager (Hands-On) - Let's Build Greener Cities Together!

In this role, you will lead a team supporting and securing cloud infrastructure, platforms, and customer systems. You will design, implement, and manage new solutions, collaborating with product and development teams to address business and technical priorities. You'll drive operational vision and deliver technical solutions for our customers.
Key Skills
Essential:
1. Expert experience managing cloud infrastructure and networks
2. Strong knowledge of AWS services (e.g., VPC, EC2, CloudFormation, CloudWatch)
3. Ability to navigate complex technical solutions in Legacy and native cloud environments
4. Excellent communication, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
5. Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, IaaS, and PaaS tools (e.g., GitLab, Terraform)
6. Knowledge of MySQL/Postgres and queuing technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
7. Extensive Linux and Windows Server knowledge
Desirable:
1. AWS qualifications or equivalent experience
2. Experience with scripting and automation
3. Familiarity with Kubernetes and VPN technologies
4. Understanding of Agile development
Salary, Benefits & Working Practices
1. Up to £60,000 + 10% matched pension
2. Located in Poole, Dorset
3. Hybrid working. Must be within commuting distance of Bournemouth & Poole.
4. 26-29 days holiday, increasing with service
