As a Materials Handler, your main responsibilities will be dispatch-focused. This includes tasks such as packing, arranging shipments, and coordinating with shipments. Strong English skills are required for effective communication. A B1 counterbalance forklift license is preferred, as forklift operation will mainly involve loading and unloading vehicles, approximately 1-2 hours a day. Candidates without previous stores experience will be considered, as long as you are IT literate, willing to learn, and possess good communication skills.
Key Responsibilities include:
Deploying inventory to shop floor locations, kanbans/regulators, or via kitting operations as required.
Conducting accurate stock checks and cycle counts.
Maintaining quality, batch control, and traceability of all parts.
Issuing stock parts to the workshop and updating the system accordingly.
Packaging orders for safe delivery to the customer.
Maintaining and filing Goods Received Notes and records.
Flexibility with working hours during heavy workload periods.
Handling receipts for indirect purchases.
Undertaking other duties as reasonably requested by the company.
Performing operations according to safety, health, and environmental principles.
