Joining a busy team you will efficiently process sales orders, handle sales customer enquiries and quotations whilst providing effective administration support to the smooth running of the team. Respond to queries from internal and external customers. Maintain relationships with several key accounts. As part of this role, you will also undertake a L3 Bussiness Administration Apprenticeship for 18 months with the posibility to secure a permanent position upon completing the course.
A normal day would include:
• Receive customer orders by telephone, and email
• Ensure that all orders are accurately entered into the bespoke ordering system
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve any problems that may arise
• Agree workload and priorities with the Sales office manager
• Deal with document filing in a timely and efficient manner
• Raise purchase orders to accompany all orders
• Liaise with production and warehouse on relevant issues regarding availability and delivery
• Manage a portfolio of several key accounts
• Comply with Health and Safety responsibilities defined in the company Health and Safety policy, and ensure that any specific responsibilities are adequately delegated in their absence.

Qualifications Required:
* A minimum of 3 GCSE’s, or equivalent, including English and Maths, at Grade C or above
* Proficient with Microsoft packages (including Word and Excel)
* A background in sales would be advantageous
Salary details:
National Living Wage (for those aged 21 and over) and the National Minimum Wage (for those of at least school leaving age).
* Aged 16 to 18: The current National Minimum Wage rate for an apprentice: £7.55 per hour.
* Aged 19 or over and in their first year: The current National Minimum Wage rate for an apprentice: £7.55 per hour.
* Aged 19 or over and have completed their first year: National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage rate for their age.
Holiday Entitlement: 31 days
Working Week/Hours of Work: 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday
