An in-house Barrister is required to work in a Law firm as part of their Advocacy team, based in London, dealing with professional discipline cases.
Work Involvement
1. Primarily present cases at final substantive hearings.
2. Represent regulators at interim application and case management hearings.
3. Present the full range of cases including those involving dishonesty, fraud, sexual misconduct, and serious instances of deficient professional performance.
4. Work with expert witnesses and support vulnerable witnesses.
5. Input into case direction at all stages of the investigation and preparation process.
6. Advisory work with clients.
7. High Court and the First Tier Tribunal appeals.
Minimum Requirements: 4+ PQE Solicitor Advocate or Barrister.
Highly competitive salary + bonus dependent upon relevant comparative experience.
